We all know badge engineering, it’s a disgusting practice that almost destroyed the industry. Nowadays badge engineering is not as used as it was in the past, but you can still see remains of it.
Seat Alhambra and VW Sharan. What else is there?

A little while ago Australia had the Dodge Journey and Fiat Freemont. One marketed with American muscle and brawn, one marketed with Italian style and flair.
Both utterly pathetic.
I believe for a while the Journey was Dodge’s entire range. You have to wonder why they bothered at all.
Guess they
stopped bothering.

Actually, badge engineering is commonly associated with vehicles from the same parent company.
